こんにちは ギャル!
I'm Eri and I though this would be a perfect opportunity to finally start up a blog after all this time I've been in the community. It’s honestly long overdue. This post is going to cover the struggles of soul searching a gal style that I, maybe even you, finally decided to stick with. Disclaimer: I absolutely adore all the of the sub styles that gal has to offer; I believed that every gal should have that one style that they stick to truly. For example, Lizzie wear other sub styles but she truly shines in Agejo and reverts back to it as well. Which leads to me searching for my path to which gal style truly shines within me. However I wanted to find a sub-style that'll compliment me and would work with my features which i personally find a bit up and down. Here's some things I took in consideration...
I have a round face
I have a very youthful face
I’m tall
My body is “curvy”
So I have to find a style that perfectly fits with all these characteristic of myself that’ll not only compliment my body but will also makes me happy. I begin my search! Flash back to wee ol’ me in 6th grade, I feel in love with Himekaji and wanted to be the prime Himekaji gal BUT the style was a bit overly girly and feminine to me. However some of the pieces would definitely work for me but some would just look like to the world “a doll”. Anyway I wanted to have a style where I’m cute, sexy and princess in one, not separately so lately I found an huge interest in Ma*rs, D.i.a, DaTura etc. 3 different brand for 3 different styles. Wild right?
At first I wanted to do strictly MA*RS Agejo but wasn’t too fond of their older pieces and newer pieces. Although they are cute but it wasn’t the type I was going for (I did found some stuff I snagged up heheh ). However I found out about Sakurina’s new look that she has been sporting and wanted to look exactly like that, at first I thought it was an offset of Oneegyaru but actually it’s Agejo but Ane Agejo.
Ane Agejo is like older sister “glamour” version of Ageha, It’s not too over the top and not too plain. It has the right amount of sexy, glamour, and cuteness to it, which fits up my alley! Yay I found my style.
For all the newcomers that are currently reading this, just know you won’t find what you excel in in one day. It took me years to find a style that was comfortable for me and that was best for me. It’s absolutely encourage to new gals to experiment all sorts of styles and find what’s best for you. Then once you get settle and stable in what you like add your personal flare to it! Get creative! Put a twist to things, it doesn’t have to be a carbon copy of what you see. A Gal is Gal and will shine through no matter what you look like.
p.s I am still figuring out what I want to do.
